Welcome to the homepage of the Northbrook Speedskating Club, which has served Northbrook and surrounding communities in the Chicago area since 1952. Our overriding mission is to teach the great sport of speedskating and promote its enjoyment for all ages and levels, novice to elite. Speedskating is an excellent whole body workout and there are numerous short track (111 meter) and long track (400 meter) meets in our area for recreation and competition each year.
