Welcome to the Northbrook Speedskating Club web page. The Northbrook Speedskating Club has served the Chicago north shore since 1952 and produced many U.S. Olympians (see below). We have a long relationship with the Northbrook Park District and are a developmental club for youth and adult skaters of all levels, recreational to elite. Whether you are new to speedskating or an experienced competitor, come check us out! We are fast, fun, and open to sharing our knowledge of short track and long track. Watch practice or participate on the ice with demo speedskates - no obligation required. Speedskating is an amazing sport that provides a great whole body workout and is excellent cross-training for in-line and hockey to improve your stroke and edging. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is expanding our tax exempt partnerships with north shore business and community groups. Contact Todd Kroll (nbsscpre@nbssc.org) or 847-446-5799 for questions and additional information.

Take a look at how our skaters have fun and keep their competitive edge in the summer off season with Northbrook Speedskating dryland training and in-line road racing with Team Rainbo |
